This Privacy Policy is for UniPhotography. It covers www.uniphotography.com (bookings, store, client accounts, event photos) and the Instagram promotions run by @uniphotography and any other Instagram accounts UniPhotography manages. Questions: mike@uniphotography.com.

What I collect

• When you book, buy or create an account: your name, email, phone, the session or items you choose, your signature on agreements, shipping address for prints, and messages you send me.
• Payments are handled by Stripe and PayPal. I never see or store your full card or bank details.
• Instagram promotions: your Instagram username, the comments you leave on the promo post (to check the tags the promo asks for), and, if you message the account, your Instagram user ID, name and whether you follow the account. I receive this through Instagram’s official API with the permissions you see when interacting with the account. I don’t read anything else in your profile, your followers or your private messages with others.
• Basic security data: IP address for spam and abuse limits, and a session cookie that keeps your cart and login.

How I use it

• To run your booking: confirmations, reminders, agreements, invoices, delivering your photos.
• To check promo entries, send your promo code, and reply to your DM with your claim link.
• Occasional emails about your session and, only if you opt in, news and offers. You can unsubscribe any time.

I don’t sell or rent your information, and I don’t use Instagram data for advertising or share it with anyone. Instagram data is used only for the promotion you entered.

Text messages

If you tick the optional “I agree to receive text messages” box when you book or in your account, I text you booking confirmations, session reminders and links to your photos (about 1–3 texts per booking). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts at any time and HELP for help. Consent to texts isn’t required to book.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Texts are sent through Twilio, which only uses your number to deliver them. Who else handles it

My web hosting company, payment processors (Stripe, PayPal), Twilio (text messages), and Meta/Instagram for messages you exchange with my Instagram accounts. Each has its own privacy policy.

How long I keep it

Booking, payment and agreement records are kept as long as the law requires for business records (usually 7 years). Promo entries are kept for 12 months, Instagram message-check records for up to 60 days, then deleted.

Your choices

You can see and update your details in your account, ask for a copy, or ask me to delete your data on the delete my data page or by email. Depending on where you live (for example California under the CCPA/CPRA, or the EU and UK under GDPR), you may have the right to know, correct and delete your personal information. I don’t sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising.

Children

This site and the promotions are for people 18 and older (or with a parent or guardian booking for them).
